部门概况

基础教学部负责学院文化基础课的教学与管理工作，下设英语、语文、思政、体育、综合、艺术基础等六个教研室，开设的课程有英语、语文、思想道德修养和法律基础、毛泽东思想、邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想概论、中国近代史纲要、马克思主义基本原理、教师口语、心理学、教育学、应用文写作、体育、计算机、数学等必修课程和书法入门、文学赏析、浙江文化与非遗、艺术欣赏、美学常识、中国文化概论、羽毛球、计算机基础、中西方文化比较、世界文学名著导读等选修课程。除日常教学外，还开展丰富多彩的校园文化活动。目前，已有两个项目荣列学院首批校园文化品牌。此外，每年组织学生参加浙江省大学生中华经典诗文诵读比赛、浙江省高职高专英语写作大赛、浙江省高职高专英语口语大赛等大型赛事，屡获佳绩。目前，共有教职工二十六名，其中副高职称八名，学科带头人二名、青年骨干教师五名，已获得和即将获得硕士学位十余人。已经完成和正在进行的教科研项目有二十余项。

The Department of Fundamental Education is responsible for the teaching and management of basic cultural courses. Consisting of six Teaching and Research Sections: English, Chinese, Education on Ideological and Political Theory, Physical Education, Computer and Psychology, and Art Theory, offering compulsory courses including English, Chinese, Morality and Legal Basis, Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought, Introduction to Deng Xiaoping Theory and Three Represents, Introduction to Modern Chinese History, Basic Principles of Marxism, Teacher’s Oral Speech, Psychology, Pedagogy, Practical Writing, Physical Education, Computer, Mathematics, etc and various elective courses like Calligraphy Introduction, Literature Appreciation,  Intangible Cultural Heritage of Zhejiang Province, Art Appreciation, Aesthetics, Introduction to Chinese Culture, Badminton, Computer Basics, the Comparative Study of Chinese and Western Culture, Reading-guide to World Masterpieces. In addition to day-to-day teaching, it organizes rich and colorful campus cultural activities. Currently, two projects have been honored as the First Campus Culture Brands. Every year, students are trained and selected by the department to participate in provincial contests such as Provincial College Poem Recitation Competition, Provincial English Speaking Contest for Vocational College Students, Provincial English Writing Contest for Vocational College Students, and have won many prizes. The department has 26 staffs, including 8 associate professors, 2 academic leaders, and 5 young backbone teachers. More than 10 teachers have or will have a master's degree. More than 20 research projects have been completed or in progress.
